Bangladesh has released its official roadmap for Hajj 2027, asking prospective pilgrims to complete registration by September 26, 2026. The Ministry of Religious Affairs issued the schedule through its Hajj-1 Branch, setting out a sequence of deadlines that will run from this summer through the pilgrimage next year.
The roadmap follows the Saudi Hajj 1448 AH calendar, which the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced at a ceremony in Jeddah on May 29, 2026 and handed to the religious affairs ministers of participating countries.
A timeline built around the Saudi calendar
According to the ministry's release, the bilateral Hajj agreement between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia will be signed on November 8, 2026. That agreement formalises quotas and service terms for the season.
The issuance of Hajj visas is scheduled to begin on January 28, 2027, with flight operations starting on April 8, 2027. The Hajj itself is expected to be observed on May 15, 2027, corresponding to 9 Dhul Hijjah, subject to the sighting of the moon.
Bangladeshi Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain attended the Jeddah ceremony as an invited guest. Saudi Assistant Minister for Hajj and Umrah Dr Al Hassan bin Yahya Al Manakhrah formally handed over the roadmap, the ministry said.
The role of the Masar Nusuk platform
Much of the season's administration will run through the Masar Nusuk platform, reflecting the Kingdom's wider move toward digital contracting. The ministry said the transfer of Saudi-side expenses to the e-wallet of the Masar Nusuk platform will continue from July 15 to December 24, 2026.
Agreements for overall service packages, covering tents, accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, catering and transportation, will be signed through the platform between July 29, 2026 and January 23, 2027. Pilgrims' information must be uploaded to the Masar Nusuk system between August 14, 2026 and January 28, 2027.
Agreements with designated airlines, along with the related documentation in the Masar Nusuk system, are to be completed between July 29 and November 8, 2026. The ministry urged all concerned to complete Hajj activities in line with the announced schedule.
