Bangladesh has published its official roadmap for the Hajj 2027 (1448 AH) season, urging prospective pilgrims to complete their registration by September 26, 2026. The schedule, released by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, lays out a step-by-step timeline running from registration this year through to the pilgrimage itself in May 2027.
The roadmap follows the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah's announcement of the Hajj 2027 schedule at a ceremony in Jeddah on May 29, after which it was formally handed to the religious affairs ministers of participating countries. Bangladesh's Religious Affairs Minister, Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain Kaikobad, attended the programme, where Saudi Assistant Minister for Hajj and Umrah Dr Al Hassan bin Yahya Al Manakhrah presented the roadmap.
Key dates for pilgrims
According to the ministry's Hajj-1 Branch, registration for the 2027 season is to be completed by September 26, 2026. Securing a registration serial number early is important, as the number of available places is fixed by the quota agreed with Saudi Arabia.
The roadmap sets out several milestones leading up to the pilgrimage. The bilateral Hajj agreement between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia is scheduled to be signed on November 8, 2026. The issuance of Hajj visas will begin on January 28, 2027, and Hajj flight operations are due to start on April 8, 2027. The Hajj itself is expected to be observed on May 15, 2027, corresponding to 9 Dhul Hijjah, subject to the sighting of the moon.
Payments and the Masar Nusuk platform
The roadmap places the Saudi-operated Masar Nusuk platform at the centre of the process. The transfer of Saudi-side expenses to the e-wallet of the Masar Nusuk platform will continue from July 15 to December 24, 2026.
Agreements covering overall service packages, including tents, accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, catering and transportation, will be signed through Masar Nusuk between July 29, 2026, and January 23, 2027. Pilgrims' information must be uploaded to the Masar Nusuk system between August 14, 2026, and January 28, 2027.
Separately, agreements with the airlines designated to carry Hajj pilgrims, along with the related documentation in the Masar Nusuk system, are to be completed between July 29 and November 8, 2026.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has urged all concerned parties to complete their Hajj-related activities in line with the announced roadmap. With registration, payments and data uploads all tied to fixed windows, missing a deadline at one stage can affect a pilgrim's place later in the process.
Prospective pilgrims from Bangladesh are advised to begin gathering the required documents now, to register well before the September 26 cut-off rather than waiting until the final days, and to deal only with government-approved Hajj agencies. They should also keep records of all payments made through official channels and monitor announcements from the ministry for any updates.
The early release of a detailed roadmap reflects a broader trend across pilgrim-sending countries this year, with several governments publishing their 2027 timelines well in advance to give applicants more time to prepare and to spread the administrative workload over a longer period.
